I am sorry I did not post this right away but we have been quite busy. We had a fabulous honeymoon! Then I went with David on a business trip to Delaware. I shopped while he was in a meeting, what fun! Now it's back to reality, real life. And I could not be more thrilled. Reality, the real world as a married couple have been great! We are so happy!

Thank you all for everything you did for us!! We are so blessed.

Family Tradition

My parents bought a pair of baby moccasins on their honeymoon, so David and I thought it would be neat to buy something for our first-born. No, we are not announcing anything, we just wanted to continue the new family tradition. Aren't the booties cute as a button?
The other picture is from our last dinner on our honeymoon. I have mixed feelings about going home: Excited about my new house/new life and sad to be leaving paradise. But I must say, we have had an amazing time with weather that could not have been better...75 (ish) and sunny!!

Last day in paradise

Today David and I went on a Zodiac boat ride that was fun and educational. We saw several dolphins and a Bald Eagle's nest on our adventure. We were told the nest was estimated to weigh 600 to 700 pounds. I did not realize Bald Eagle's mate for life and the same couple come back to the same nest year after year. How sweet! A baby Bald Eagle will grow to be 11 pounds in just 60 days. WOW!

Our cute room...

..in St. Augustine.

St. Augustine Waterfront

David and I are now in St. Augustine, Florida. We are staying at a fabulous bed and breakfast! For breakfast we order whatever we want and they deliver it either in the courtyard, the gazebo or the dining room. They will even deliver it to us in bed. We decided on the courtyard delivery so we can watch the boats, just a stone's throw away. This is "Josh" the horse. We forgot his name, so we named him "Josh."

Charleston, SC

This is where we stayed in Charleston, it is called the Vendue Inn. What a great place it was! The decor was cute as a button. The service was wonderful and the breakfast was fantastic. David and I had mini Belgian waffles with a strawberry sauce. What a fabulous experience! So romantic : )

Plantation ..?...

This was a plantation we stopped visited, but we forgot the name...what a lasting impression it made : ) hee, hee, hee
The picture of us on the porch was taken with the camera's timer. I had to start the timer then run up the stairs and sit on the rocking chair. I barely made it!!

Look at that talent!

My brother, along with my cousins, decorated our car. When we asked who had done it, no one fessed up to it. It was actually done very tastefully : ) Thanks guys!

Our first...

dinner together as a married couple. How sweet.

Our rings

We arrived at the beach today and I thought I would snap a few pictures of our rings, all 3 of them together. This is my favorite.

Headed out

David and me just before we left for our honeymoon. You can see the guys of the family had fun decorating the car. Yes, that is a ball and chain you see behind me. They also wrote "just married" on the back, too cute. We have had several people wave and beep their horn because of it.

Rewind a day...

David and I now have a chance to tell you all about our "Big Day." We had worried about the weather, but it turned out to be the PERFECT day for a wedding. It had rained for days before the wedding, even while setting up the chairs on Friday. It even rained Sunday, but Saturday was beautiful. Everything went very well, to say the least. All the little details came out just as I had envisioned them. We have to say a super-big thank you to those of you who helped put all of those details in place. It could not have been done without you. Thank you to the wedding party for being there for us and standing there with us. We are very blessed.

The ceremony felt so quick for me, but David on the other had thought it was not that quick. There were a few moments that we will always look back upon and have a good laugh. The gnats were a little bothersome at times (they could have been worse). They seemed to have liked poor Pastor Dan, who kept his composure very well. I had a gnat that was on my cheek approaching my eye and I tried to blow it away myself then David attempted to do the same. We got a little chuckle out of that. We said our vows without too many tears. David struggled a little with placing the ring on my finger.

The reception was great! So many people came up to us and said how unique everything was, from the location to the decorations, etc. That was so good to hear. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as David and I.

I will try to keep you updated with pictures and such as I have time. Love you all!

Honeymoon time!

We can smell the ocean. We are headed SOUTH! No reservations, just going where the road takes us.

We want to thank everyone for your hard work. The wedding was exactly how we planned! We love you!
