I promised I would add more to the last post, so here goes. David and I went to our first ultrasound and found out we were having a girl! We are super excited, either way we would have been. The point of an ultrasound is to check the baby's growth and general health. We were just excited to see her for the first time. The ultrasound tech was concerned with something she saw and shared it with the doctor we were seeing that day. To make a long story short, after being scared to death by one doctor, we spoke with our favorite doctor at our ob/gyn office, then a high-risk doctor, had another test and a level 2 ultrasound. Our baby's test results came back and she is going to be healthy! Praise God. So many of our friends and family were praying for us and we cannot say how much that meant to us. In the last week or two I have felt her move more and more each day. What an amazing feeling. David was able to feel her move, as well. We cannot be more excited about our baby girl, Asher. This is nothing more than a blessing from God.
